The stands allow investigating the operating modes of horizontal-axis and vertical-axis wind power plants, solar photovoltaic panels, lighting loads of various types.

Also included are works on the study of renewable energy sources both as part of autonomous power supply systems and in the modes of generating electric power into a single electric power system (as part of wind power plants and solar power plants).
